Glass Peace Pendants are uniquely designed. Every one is a masterpiece of its own. We make each piece distinct in color and form. Even though these pendants are solid, many of the patterns are created by drawing on the outside of a tube, blowing the pattern out to a very thin bubble, then shrinking it back to a solid piece again. By shrinking the bubble, the pattern becomes a very intricate and complicated design. After the glass has been blown and manipulated, it is place in a kiln with a computerized controller to anneal. The annealing process removes any stresses in the glass to ensure a beautiful pendant with a long life of strength and durability! These glass pendants can be worn on any type of necklace. Many people use cord, leather, hemp, silver chain, or they make amazing centerpieces for beaded necklaces as a replacement for a focal bead.
All our beads are made from borosilicate (Pyrex™) glass, once completed they are placed in a kiln to anneal. To find out more about the glass we use and how we use it click here.
